On January 28th, 2011, at approximately 11:40 am, the Richland Center Fire Department was paged for a trailer home fire on Windmill Lane in Richland Township. Engine 705, Tankers 704 and 714, Squad 708, and Light Rescue 715 responded to the call. RCFD personnel were on scene for about an hour and were assisted at the scene by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Alliant Energy, and the Richland Center Fire Explorers.
