On October 12th, 2013, at approximately 8:15 P.M., the Richland Center Fire Department was paged for a house fire on Galaway Lane in Rockbridge Township. Firefighters responded with Engine 705, Tanker 704, Squad 708, Tanker 714, Tanker 707 and Utility 718. Prior to units arrival the fire was extinguished by the homeowner and firefighters checked for further extension of fire. Firefighters were on scene for about an hour and a half. Richland County EMS, the Richland Center Fire Explorers and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
