On November 24th, 2013, the Richland Center Fire Department was paged for a house fire on Hustlers Ridge Road in Richland Township. Firefighters responded with Engine 705, Tanker 704, Squad 708, Tanker 707, and Tanker 714. Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found active fire on the rear side of the structure. Firefighters advanced two attack lines on the fire and extinguished it. Firefighters then performed overhaul operations and checked for further extension. Firefighters were on scene for about 1.5 hours. The Richland Center Fire Explorers, Richland County EMS and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
