On June 3rd, 2013, at approximately 2:30 P.M., the Richland Center Fire Department Duty Crew was paged for a farming accident on County Highway U in Akan Township. Firefighters responded with Rescue 706, Squad 715, Brush Truck 712, Engine 705 and Utility 718 with ATV 719. Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters assisted EMS. Firefighters were on scene for about 1 hour. Richland County EMS, Western Richland County First Responders, UW Med Flight and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
