On April 12th, 2013, at approximately 12:00 A.M., the Richland Center Fire Department was paged for a chimney fire on County Highway BB in Buena Vista Township. Firefighters responded with Engine 705, Tanker 704, Squad 708, Tanker 714, and Tanker 717. Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated the damage. Firefighters were on scene for about 2 hours. Alliant Energies, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, and the Richland Center Fire Explorers assisted at the scene.
