At aproximately 8:15 a.m. July 12, 2011 a two car accident brought members of the Fire Department Duty Crew to US Highway 14 West in front of Hoffer’s Small Engines. Firefighters were called to the scene and responded with Rescue 706, Engine 705, and Unit 715. Upon arrival all people were found to be out of their vehicles. Spilled fluids and debris were cleared from the highway. Richland County EMS, and The Richland County Sheriff’s Depertment were also on scene. Both vehicles suffered damage that made them undriveable and were removed from the scene by local towing companies.
