On the afternoon of 11-24-2010, the Richland Center Fire Dept. was requested to respond to County Hioghway AA near Bowman Circle to a report of a power transformer problem. Power failures were being reported throughout the city. Richland Center City Electric Utility workers and Richland Electric Cooperative personnel responded. Richland Center Police investigated several reported fire and burgler alarms in the city as a result of the power failure. No injuries were reported. Fire crews were out for a short period of time.
