Brush Truck 711
Brush Truck # 711 is a 1999 Chevrolet. The chassis on this unit replaced a 1977 chassis that is now assigned as Unit 718. The State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources gave the Fire Department a grant to help us purchase the chassis for this unit. The body on this truck was remounted from the 1977 unit after being repainted, and a new tank and pump were installed. 711 is the first out brush truck in our department for grass and wild land fires. It also responds to fire calls when a vehicle fire of piece of farm machinery is called in as on fire in an off road situation.
