The Richland Center Fire Dept. responded to a reported grass fire in Sylvan township on March 25, 2010. The fire was located on Ash Ridge Road just off Robson Rd. north of Sabin. Several small structures were in the area, including a barn. The barn was spared. In all approximately 5 acres were burned. Firefighters supressed the blaze and returned to the station.
