On May 20th, 2014, at approximately 5:15 P.M., the Richland Center Fire Department was dispatched for a field fire on County Highway E in Dayton Township. Firefighters responded with Brush Truck 712, Brush Truck 711, Tanker 704 and Squad 708. Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters extinguished a fire in a corn field. Firefighters were on scene for about 30 minutes.The Richland Center Fire Explorers assisted at the scene.
