Firefighters were paged to a private residence on Snata Klaus Lane in Section 11 of Orion Township for the report of a loader that was on fire. Firefighters responded with Engine 705, Brush 711, Tankers 704, and 717, and Squad 708, and found a loader parked in the road with heavy fire in the engine area. The fire was extinguished with water and foam, and removed from the scene by a local towing company. The 28 firefighters that responded to the call were assisted at the scene by the Department Explorer Group and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. No injuries were reported.
